The Family Arraigo is a type of temporary residence permit granted to foreigners who have family ties with Spanish citizens or legal residents in Spain. This temporary residence permit allows the beneficiary to stay in the country for a period of one year and may reside and work for an employed or self-employed person in Spain in a legal manner.
Requirements
Not to be a citizen of a State of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, or family of citizens of these countriesto which the Union citizen system applies.
No criminal record in Spain andformer countries of residencefor offences within the Spanish law.
Not to be prohibited from entering Spain and not to be rejectedin the territorial area of countries with which Spain has signed an agreement to that effect.
Not to be found within the period of commitment not to return to Spainthe alien has taken over on his or her voluntary return to his or her country of origin.
In addition, you should be in one of the following situations:
To be a father, mother or legal guardian of a Spanish minor and to have responsibility and coexistence with the child or to be up to date with the parental-subsidiary obligations.
To support and live with a Spanish person with disabilities in the exercise of his legal capacity.
To be a registered spouse or partner of a Spanish person, to have ascendants over 65 years of age or under 65 years of age, to have descendants under 21 years of age or over 21 years of age by a Spanish person or his / her registered spouse or partner.
In these three cases, the duration of the residence and work permit shall be 5 years.
To be the son of a father or mother who was originally Spanish.
